FORMA PROGRESSIVA (Presente)

 CARACTERÍSTICAS:

1-      Sempre com o ING no final do verbo principal.

2- Indica que uma ação está sendo executada naquele momento.

3- Verbos de 3 letras (consoante, vogal, consoante), dobra-se a última letra antes de acrescentar o ING.

EX:Run (correr) – RuNNing (correndo)

Sit (sentar) – SiTTing (sentando)

Bet (apostar) – BeTTing (apostando)

Put (colocar) – PuTTing (colocando)

4-Verbos terminados em E, tira-se o E e acrescenta-se o ING.

EX: Waste – Wasting

Drive – Driving

Make – Making

5- Observe os verbos que segundo a regra sempre se deve dobrar a última letra:

Begin – BegiNNing

Swim – SwiMMing

6- Nunca se usa o verbo auxiliar TO DO com a forma progressiva nas formas negativa e interrogativa.

1-      Passe as frases para a forma negativa:

a)      I´m making a cake for you.

c)      He´s working in my hotel.

d)     Sally´s closing the door of the club.

e)      She´s kissing her boyfriend.

f)       I´m swimming in this beach.

g)      Mark´s writing a letter for his father.

h)     My teacher´s working in that school.

i)        Your girlfriend´s holding me.

j)       Her doctor´s making a cirurgy.

OBS: NOTE QUE A FORMA PROGRESSIVA SEMPRE VEM ANTECIPADA DO VERBO TO BE.

2-Passe as frases para a forma interrogativa:

a)      Raul and his mother are drinking cold water.

b)     We´re playing football in that club.

c)      His friend´s eating an apple and a pear.

d)     She´s walking to my office.

e)      They´re hearing country music.

f)       You´re telling me a history.

g)      Susan´s loving your new apartament.

h)     I´m praying for you every night.

i)        Charles´s buying an old bike.

j)       My friends´re trying to buy a new car.

3-Forme frases na forma progressiva com os seguintes verbos: jump, fly, stay, rescue, cry, have, sail, rise, talk, know, balance, dance, paint, ask, move, need, sale e save.
